Cameron was born in Columbus Ohio, before moving to Cincinnati Ohio at the age of 5. In 2011, Cameron moved to Shanghai in order to pursue a Masters in International Politics at Fudan University. After graduating from Fudan in 2013, Cameron felt God calling him to start up a youth group catering to Junior High Students.
In 2013, he became the Middle School Youth Director at Shanghai Community Fellowship (SCF). Cameron is passionate about instilling in youth the fact that there is no age too young to start having powerful daily encounters with God. He also loves bringing Jesus to the un-churched through ministries such as Alpha.
Prior to moving to Shanghai, he graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in East Asian Languages and Cultures and a B.A. in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs. He has also received a Masters in Chinese Culture from Valparaiso University. Besides serving in leadership at SCF, Cameron also works full time as a MYP Coordinator at a local Shanghai middle school.
